The Workplace First Aid Refresher course will help candidates in becoming certified First Aiders in their workplace.
The Workplace First Aid Refresher Course is meant to impart knowledge on how to handle the common emergencies which will help candidates in becoming certified First Aiders in their workplace.
The training course will include responsibilities of a First-Aider, patient approach and handling the emergency services.
Duration: 2 days
After completion of this course, candidates will be able to:-
Deal with life-threatening conditions until the arrival of emergency medical arrives
Assist in recovery of people suffering medical emergencies
Provide pre-hospital First Aid Response in a wide range of environments
Display the requisite personal skills including composure, competence, and self-confidence
Those persons who may be called upon to respond to an accident or incident in the workplace where a person may be ill or injured.
This certificate is valid for 2 years, and is recognised by the HSA.
Candidate must be at least 16 years of age.
Candidates must produce a FAR Cert which is current or expired less than 30 days before the course date. Please note candidate will not be allowed to enter the classroom without this document.
Candidates must have good working knowledge of both written and spoken English.
