Course Details: Designed by Irish Fire Safety Engineers, this course meets the training needs of staff responsible for Fire Safety within the organisation.
Aim: To provide training to personnel wishing to be part of the fire safety team within the workplace as described by The HSA.
Training Objectives: On completion of the programme participants will be able to:
- Use first aid fire extinguishing equipment
- Describe their fire responsibilities
- Describe the science of fire
- Describe how fire starts and spreads
- Identify fire hazards and understand how these are controlled

All participants will receive a certificate of attendance. Refresher course is recommended every 12 months.
